Small Ensembles - Level Two
- Small combos of similar playing levels—3 to 7 players
- Structured rehearsals with individual attention—music and material assigned based on student levels and needs
- Rhythm section seats limited to one player per instrument
- Acoustic piano, drumset and amp provided
- Play in final performance
For students with more skills, Level Two provides additional focus on playing arrangements and extended performances in a guided rehearsal setting.
Student Requirements
Intermediate jazz performance skill level, desire to improve, and punctual attendance.
Students supply 12-stave manuscript notebook and their instrument.
Homework
Homework is comprised of playing assignments based on the ensemble music and individual needs.
$275 for eight-week session - classes meet 1.5 hours weekly. |
